Wall Road opens flat as buyers choose the prospect of price hikes

(Reuters) – Wall Street major indices opened unchanged on Wednesday as investors resented early Federal Reserve rate hikes after strong retail profits and data showed an economic recovery was on the right track.

The increase was 17.48 points, or 0.05%, when it opened to 36,159.70. The opened 0.60 points, or 0.01%, higher at 4,701.50 while the fell 0.24 points to 15,973.62 at the opening bell.
