If you even hit social media on Monday, your Instagram stories and Twitter feeds have likely been flooded with the logo of the popular money-sharing app Venmo.

It wasn't just because your social media connections are so obsessed with the app that they just want to talk about it (although they could very well be) – it turns out the social campaign is part of a cash gift.

Venmo announced it is giving away more than $ 100,000 to be shared among 100 happy social media users, 50 from Instagram and 50 from Twitter.

Each winner will receive $ 500. The drawing of the two winning rounds will take place on June 29th during the day.

The raffle lasts until Monday and participants must be at least 18 years old to enter.

The company announced the contest on its Twitter account, which users can enter to win by simply retweeting the company's tweet on their own feed and adding their Venmo handle, hashtag #VenmoMe, and tagging the company .

We're spending $ 100,000 today. RT this with your Venmo handle for a chance to win $ 500. #VenmoMe

Must follow @Venmo. No purchase necessary. Ends on June 28th. US only, 18+. Venmo account required. Rules: https://t.co/g4KLdGjvpV pic.twitter.com/QSkXomztvQ

Interested attendees can also participate by commenting on their Venmo handle on the company's latest Instagram post before reposting it on their Instagram story.

On both platforms, users must follow their respective @Venmo account in order to be entered.

The company hasn't specified exactly what the giveaway was for or inspired by, but this is the second month the app has been spending money this year after the #VenmoItForward sweepstakes in April.

Venmo is owned by PayPal, which is up over 74% year over year.
