(Reuters) – French video game group Ubisoft announced several departures on Saturday after reviewing a response to allegations of corporate misconduct. Previous reports dealt with sexual misconduct charges.
The changes have been introduced to improve the "workplace culture", the company said.
The Group's Chief Creative Officer, the managing director of the Canadian studios and the global head of human resources have resigned from their positions with immediate effect.
"The disposals will follow a rigorous review initiated by the company in response to recent allegations and allegations of wrongdoing and inappropriate behavior," the company said.
Unisoft announced last month that it had investigated allegations of misconduct in the company with the support of specialized external consultants.
According to media reports, Ubisoft earlier this week confirmed the departure of its Vice President Maxime Béland after allegations of assault.
According to a Bloomberg report, two senior Ubisoft executives were on leave last month for alleged misconduct.
The video game industry was involved in the # MeToo movement in June after women spoke about abuse on Twitter. A medium contribution with compiled allegations was also distributed.
