The right way to set a monetary purpose with Mint

Steps to Create a Savings Goal (iOS)

Open the app and navigate to the Monthly tab.
Tap "Create Goal"
Select the type of goal you want to set (rainy day fund, home, something else).
Name your goal to make it personal
Set the $ amount you want to save
Decide by when you want to achieve your goal
Select the account you want to save with
Determine how much you think you can save each month
Congratulation! You are well on your way to reaching your goal. Easily track your progress on the Monthly tab.

Steps to Create a Payoff Debt Goal (iOS)

Open the app and navigate to the Monthly tab.
Tap "Create Goal"
Select the type of goal you want to set (conquer my credit, smash my credit card debt)
Select the accounts you want to include
Set the $ amount you can contribute to your goal each month
Decide by when you want to achieve your goal
Select the account you want to pay with
Determine how much you think you can pay per month
Congratulation! You are well on your way to paying off your debt. Easily track your progress on the Monthly tab.
