Japanese Trade Minister Says Harvard Fund "Thanked" For His Recommendation

TOKYO (Reuters) – Harvard University Endowment Fund thanked the Japanese government for advising Toshiba (OTC 🙂 Corp, the industry minister said Friday in response to an investigation into which a government adviser put pressure on the fund.

Hiroshi Kajiyama's comments come after the Department of Industry investigated pressures on Toshiba's overseas shareholders and the role of former advisor Hiromichi Mizuno.

Kajiyama said Harvard "thanked" Mizuno for advice.
