OAKLAND, Calif. (Reuters) – Alphabet's Google (NASDAQ 🙂 Inc is paying more than $ 3.8 million to 5,500 employees and applicants to resolve allegations of wage differentials for women and attitude distortions among women and Asians, the U.S. Department of Labor said next Monday.
The department said the alleged problems occurred in the company's California and Washington offices. Google did not immediately respond to a request for comment.
