France shares larger at shut of commerce; CAC 40 up 1.48%

Investing.com – France stocks were higher after Monday's close, as gains in the, and sectors propelled prices higher.

At the close of trading in Paris, the index was up 1.48% while the index was up 1.43%.

The best performers of the session were WFD Unibail Rodamco NV (AS :), who rose 6.57% or 3.82 points and ended up at 61.96. In the meantime, Worldline SA (PA 🙂 added 5.43% or 2.49 points to end at 48.45 and saffron SA (PA 🙂 rose 5.19%, or 5.12 points, to 103.78 in late trade.

The worst performers of the session were Hermes International SCA (PA :), which fell 2.96% or 47.50 points to trade at 1559.00 at the close. Eurofins Scientific SE (PA 🙂 lost 2.82% or 2.96 points to end at 101.96 and Capgemini SE (PA 🙂 fell 0.60% or 1.20 points to 200.20.

The top performers in SBF 120 were WFD Unibail Rodamco NV (AS :), who rose 6.57% to 61.96. casino Guichard Perrachon SA (PA 🙂 gained 6.12% to close at 9:15 pm and Air France KLM SA (PA 🙂 gained 5.95% to close at 3.95.

The worst performers were Valneva (PA :), which fell 8.81% to 21,540 in late trading, Sartorius Stedim Biotech SA (PA 🙂 lost 4.88% to 456.40 and Hermes International SCA (PA 🙂 lost 2.96% to 1559.00 at the close of trade.

Rising stocks on the Paris Stock Exchange exceeded declining stocks by 370 to 233 and 95 ended unchanged.

The one that measures the implied volatility of CAC 40 options was flat at 0%, hitting a new 6-month high at 18.96.

Gold futures for February delivery fell 0.12%, or 2.15, to $ 1,781.75 a troy ounce. In commodities trading, crude oil for delivery in January rose 3.98% or 2.64 to $ 68.90 a barrel, while the Brent oil contract rose 3.66% or 2.56 to $ 72.44 a barrel in February .

EUR / USD lost 0.30% to 1.1279 while EUR / GBP fell 0.44% to 0.8510.

The US dollar index futures rose 0.22% to 96.325.
