There are many ways to increase viewer / subscriber loyalty on YouTube. Many of these activities take time to manage, but are free or inexpensive to use.
1. Add accurate and relevant keywords to the title, description and tags of your video
As you upload and publish each new video, write a creative, thoughtful, informative, and engaging title for each video, along with a detailed description that is short, direct, and enticing. The tags that you assign to your videos are just as important.
Any word in the title, description or tags of a video can be searched for keywords – not only on YouTube, but also through search engines like Google. Ideally, if someone is interested in a topic related to one or more of your videos (or your YouTube channel), they should be able to find your content easily by posting appropriate keywords or a relevant search term on YouTube – or enter Google search box.
You will be pleasantly surprised at how many views you can get based on random people using keyword search to find your content. Therefore, it is important to include as many keywords as possible in the title and description of a video and to assign relevant keywords as tags. It all happens when you upload your video. However, it can also be updated anytime via your YouTube channel's Video Manager menu to reach a wider audience.

2. Use social media
Social media can become a powerful tool for promoting your business, product / service, and YouTube channel (and its content). Social media also provides another informal way to interact with your viewers and subscribers.
In today's world, it is important for companies to be present on social media. This can be done for free. However, managing various social media accounts (including your YouTube channel) can become time consuming. You can also use paid advertising on many social media platforms to quickly reach a target audience relatively inexpensively. It's a popular way for businesses to quickly grow their YouTube channel audience.
If you have a budget to promote your videos, consider using keyword advertising on Facebook. These ads are inexpensive, targeted, flexible, and easy to create and launch. You can start promoting on Facebook for as little as $ 50 and reach potential viewers in just a few minutes.
3. Post comments on videos produced by others
Another way to promote your videos is to find the most influential people who will also reach out to your target audience and get active on their respective YouTube channels, Facebook pages, and other social media feeds. This can be achieved by posting your own comments on their videos and having online conversations. Comments you post on other videos and channels can increase your popularity online, provided the comments you post are constructive and insightful. Never be negative, unprofessional, or rude in the public comments you post that relate to content created by others.

4. Host interactive live video chat in real time
Another way to interact with your viewers and subscribers is to host the occasional live video chat or video conference and invite your YouTube audience to join. This can be easily done using the YouTube Live functionality, or you can use a third party service such as YouNow (www.younow.com), Twitch.tv (www.twitch.tv), or GoToMeeting (www.Gotomeeting.com). It allows you to host, or broadcast live, live video conferencing for free or at low cost – to an audience of a handful of people, to thousands of viewers. You can then post recordings of the live conference or chat on your YouTube channel so that other people can access this content when they need it.
Live video broadcast gives your viewers and subscribers the opportunity to interact with you in a real-time and secure online environment. Many companies and successful YouTube personalities host weekly or monthly live broadcasts to interact more directly with people who share an interest in them, their business, or their products or services.
During a live broadcast, people can use text chat to ask questions of you, the host, to which you can respond. Some live broadcast services also allow you to "guest" people who watch your programs. Using their webcam and computer or mobile device, they can be seen and heard in a split screen video format so that the guest can see and hear you, you can see and hear them, and all of your audience can see and hear you and your guest.
Note that there is no time limit for live broadcasts. However, you should monitor your audience in real time and make an informed decision about when to end based on whether the audience is growing, stagnating, or shrinking (because people are no longer watching the live broadcast). Some YouTuber and YouTube channel operators offer an ongoing schedule for hosting live broadcasts so their viewers and subscribers can schedule to attend. Others go live on random days and at specific times, based on availability or when they have something to say.

5. Organize your channel with playlists and categories
By organizing groups of relevant videos with similar types of content or topics related to the same topic into playlists, you encourage viewers to watch multiple videos in a row in the order that is most beneficial to you and them.
You can easily promote other relevant content your channel offers by using cards and an end screen in your videos, as well as links to other content in the descriptions of your videos. Encourage viewers to watch multiple videos each time they visit the channel.
