People trust other people more than brands

When you create content that relates to yourself (your values, your experiences, your passions), your audience develops a much deeper connection and trust because it feels like they know you almost personally. They devour your recommendations, are open to your particular paths and strategies, you become a celebrity in their social media world, and your celebrity status will naturally attract higher-paying customers.

Personally, I only want to work with people who appreciate and respect me before I recognize my expertise. It has only become possible to attract “right people” to my business and my life since I focused on building my personal brand and creating a lot more content in my life. My secret is to be very strategic about what I share. Why I am friendly and open to my audience, most of them know very little about intimate details of my private life. That's what I love about this type of marketing – it allows me to stay in control of my privacy while building that magical connection by frequently showing up with high quality content and consistent messages.
