A virtual assistant (VA) can be crucial for any company. Nevertheless, I still hear the sentence: "I wish I could afford a VA, but I can't." And my answer was the same for a long time: "If you could rent a VA for $ 1,500 a month (or less) and they could bring in $ 3,000 in sales, could you afford it?" The answer is always a resounding yes.

Here are the top three ways you can use a VA to increase your company's visibility and income.

Probably the most obvious way to generate revenue for your business is to keep your sales pipeline full. One of my favorite tools is LinkedIn, a powerful platform for identifying sales qualified leads (SQLs).

You can also find leads through Google business listings, directories, Facebook groups, professional associations, and more. Make sure that you set a specific criterion for the leads you are looking for, record a small video clip and inform your VA of this.

Here are some additional tools you can use to find:

BuzzSumo creates lists of influencers that you can use to coordinate to market and promote your products. Hunter.io helps you find key contact email addresses by simply entering the domain name of the company you want to reach and searching for email addresses associated with the domain.

When you equip your VA with the right tools for the job, they become more efficient and you get more results.

2. Reuse of content for marketing

If you're like most entrepreneurs, you've created blog posts, email newsletters, social media posts, and possibly even some information videos about your product or service. The problem is that after they are released, they often end up in the dark hole of the Internet or email inbox and are never seen again. Use your VA to turn your blog posts into email newsletters and engage your audience. Turn your newsletter into material for your social media posts and present yourself more online.

3. Media and PR contact

One of my favorite ways to build a following is using podcast audiences. You could have your VA research podcast moderators in your niche and send slots to go on their shows. My VA, Ysabelle, does this from my email address and sends a script to podcasters with ideas that we could discuss on their show to add value to their audience. This year alone, I've seen over 50 podcasts, and my ambitious goal is to be 100 by the end of the year.

Podcast Pro Tip: Make sure you have something valuable (such as a downloadable guide, resource, training, etc.) related to the discussion topic that you can incorporate into the show. This pulls listeners into your network and positions you as a resource.

Another best way to kidnap the press is for your VA to do some research on Google to find out what publications your competitors were featured in, and collect names of the authors to build relationships with.

These are just a few of the ways you can use your virtual assistant to generate revenue for your business. What are you waiting for?
