The sequel to "Spider-Man: Far From House" was delayed by one other month till December 2021

Tom Holland repeats his role as Peter Parker / Spider-Man in Sony's "Spider-Man: Far From Home".


Sony Pictures announced Thursday that it has changed the release of Tom Holland's third "Spider-Man" film again.

This time, the hero living in Queens is due to return to the cinemas on December 17, 2021.

Holland's friendly neighborhood Spider-Man was originally hurled onto the canvas on July 16, 2021. In April, however, the film was postponed to November 5, 2021 because it was clear that the downtime would be extended.

It's unclear whether Sony's last push was due to production delays on Spider-Man, delays in other Marvel projects, or a combination of both.

The December move follows a number of other studio slate shake-ups, including Warner Bros., which drives "Tenet" and Disney, which are delaying the release of "Mulan", and Star Wars and Avatar films, which one Push back year. Paramount Pictures also heralds "A Quiet Place Part II" and "Top Gun: Maverick" in 2021.
