Coronavirus cases worldwide have now surpassed 20 million, although many regions are struggling to speed up testing to capture the true extent of the global outbreak. New cases appear to be falling in the US every day, although testing has also decreased in several large states, including Texas, which could complicate the data. Russian President Vladimir Putin said Tuesday the country had approved the world's first vaccine, although researchers have not released safety and efficacy data on the drug.
