Marvel's sequel & # 39; Black Panther & # 39; ought to be shot in July, it says within the report

The blockbuster sequel "Black Panther" could be filmed in Atlanta, Georgia late Friday in July 2021, according to a report by The Hollywood Reporter.

The film was discontinued because of the sudden and unexpected death of star Chadwick Boseman, who held the title role.

Marvel originally planned to start production in March 2021.

Director Ryan Coogler will return to direct the feature with Letitia Wright, Lupita Nyong & # 39; o, Winston Duke and Angela Bassett, all of whom are expected to repeat their roles.

The expectation is that Wright, who played Boseman's younger sister Shuri, will play a more prominent role in the feature film and possibly take on the cloak of the Black Panther.

Disney, which owns Marvel, has already hinted that we won't include CGI in the movie with the late Boseman. Read the full report from The Hollywood Reporter.
