Investing.com – India stocks higher after the close on Wednesday as gains across sectors and sectors led stocks to higher.
At the close of trading in NSE, the index was up 0.85%, reaching a new all-time high, while the index was up 0.87%.
The best performers in the session were Housing finance Corporation Ltd (NS :), which rose 3.16% or 74.30 points to close at 2424.65. Meanwhile, Hindalco Industries Ltd. (NS 🙂 added 2.82% or 6.90 points to end at 251.45 and Oil And Natural Gas Corporation Ltd. (NS 🙂 rose 2.44% or 2.45 points to 102.90 in late trading.
The worst performers at the session were ICICI Bank Ltd. (NS :), which fell 1.08% or 5.60 points to close at 512.45. NTPC Ltd (NS 🙂 fell 0.90% or 0.95 points to finish at 104.90 and UltraTech Cement Ltd (NS 🙂 fell 0.85% or 43.85 points to 5113.00.
The top performers of the BSE Sensex 30 were Oil And Natural Gas Corporation Ltd. (BO :), which rose 2.69% to 103.10, Housing Development Finance Corporation Ltd. (BO :), which rose 2.66% to 2,413.50, and Bharti Airtel Ltd. (BO) 🙂 which gained 2.35% and closed at 516.10.
The worst results were achieved by ICICI Bank Ltd (BO :), which fell 1.00% to 512.70 in late trading, IndusInd Bank Ltd. (BO 🙂 which lost 0.94% to settle at 917.95 and NTPC Ltd (BO 🙂 which fell 0.90%. to 104.85 at the end.
Stocks rising 1013 to 650 were higher than falling stocks on the India National Stock Exchange, and 61 ended unchanged. on the Bombay Stock Exchange rose in 1774 and fell in 1129, while 162 ended unchanged.
The value that measures the implied volatility of Nifty 50 options decreased 0.75% to 19.2000.
Gold futures for February delivery rose 0.64%, or 11.90, to $ 1,867.20 a troy ounce. Elsewhere in commodities trading, the price of crude oil for delivery in January rose 0.40% or 0.19 to $ 47.81 a barrel, while the Brent oil contract in February rose 0.43% or $ 0.22 to 50, $ 98 a barrel rose.
USD / INR was unchanged 0.00% to 73.556 while EUR / INR rose 0.44% to 89.7680.
The US dollar index futures fell 0.34% to 90.100.
