(Reuters) – Bank of America Corp (NYSE 🙂 replaced longtime CFO Paul Donofrio with Alastair's Borthwick on Friday while adding five new members, including three women, to its leadership team to promote diversity.
Borthwick, a Wall Street veteran who was with for 12 years. spent Goldman Sachs Group Inc (NYSE 🙂 was President of Banks Global Commercial Banking for nine years prior to joining BofA in 2005.
His appointment as CFO will be effective from the fourth quarter, the bank announced. Donofrio will become vice chairman and oversee sustainable finances and markets.
The bank also named Holly O'Neill as President, Retail Banking. O & # 39; Neill, who joined BofA in 1996 and was previously Chief Operating Officer of the wealth management business, most recently headed the bank's private client services.
Wendy Stewart, who joined the bank's consumer and retail business in 1996, was named president of global consumer banking at BofA. Most recently, she co-headed the unit's southeast operations and also led the bank's wholesale credit strategy.
