Two of Washington's most powerful lawmakers told CNBC that they believe Congress will finalize a Coronaviurs aid package, although the date is still unknown. Congress and the Trump administration spent several days fighting to conclude an aid agreement, even though the main aid efforts have expired. As negotiations continue, markets have taken a new look at employment. New data show that 1.76 million jobs were created in July due to rising infection rates and renewed virus shutdowns. The economy created 4.8 million jobs in June.
