As 2021 begins, many will choose to make healthy living a part of their lifestyle. Help your team and lead by example. The Merriam-Webster dictionary defines an entrepreneur as "a person who starts a business and is willing to risk loss to make money". This is why business owners should lead by example and show their teams that they are invested in them by considering their health. As entrepreneurs, show them how to take chances to add wealth to their lives by being healthier, which is even bigger than money. Mahatma Gandhi was quoted as saying, "It is health that represents real wealth, and not gold and silver." When you are healthy, there is no stopping you from getting all that gold or silver or whatever you are looking for. "An unhealthy body weakens the mind." Lead your team by setting an example of health and allowing your team to make the adjustments needed to live healthier lives.

As an entrepreneur, you have the opportunity to create space for your team so that you can not only make money but also improve your overall lifestyle. COVID caused many to work from home without using any exercise facilities that would have supported their plans for healthier lives. What are your plans for the future as remote working shows signs that it will be a while longer? To connect more deeply with your team and help them stay on course once they are on their way to healthier lives? Schedule a brief Monday meeting to highlight the planned goal of taking a certain number of steps and eating two healthy meals a day, then follow on Friday to evaluate overall success without dampening the efforts of those who are just starting out. If you've been to a Crossfit gym before, they have a great team mentality and applaud all efforts, no matter how small they are. Encourage your team by showing them what you're doing and opening a discussion on how to involve others.

Some of your employees' schedules may be more difficult to meet and may require your intervention with the HR department to determine how you can allocate the time and financial support to help them. Many people start the year resolving to live healthier and then fall away before spring because their surroundings do not allow them to continue with the plan. When you work at home, your employees can get out and go more than in an office. Are you setting up your system to allow them to do this? If your employees have to come to do their job, do you offer them free healthy eating options when additional profits are made from the company? As the leader of your team, what do you sacrifice so that your employees can lead healthier lives? Exercise encourages creativity and many research reports show how it can benefit the brain in this area. You may never receive any financial rewards for helping members of your team move towards healthier lifestyles. But as a leader, you would be doing something much bigger and creating a path to prosperity by allowing your team to live healthy lives. You could end up with a team full of creativity if, in some cases, you live healthy lives and exercise. As an entrepreneur with such a team, the path to greater overall success is more appropriate in the long run.

Economic conditions limit access to healthy eating by the cost of those with or without incomes, and your guidance can be valuable during these times. Some of your employees may already be adapting to the options enforced by COVID. Now is a good time to consider a plan that will help you live a healthy life. You know your business and know what best fits your team. It wouldn't hurt to ask them what their challenges are in maintaining a healthy lifestyle while working in your company and how you as a leader can help. If you don't live this lifestyle try to commit to them and hold each other accountable. Many home workouts can benefit your employees who don't need equipment, such as B. Tabata-style workouts. Be a healthy entrepreneur, lead by example and show your team what your goal is and how you will get there. You might want to lose 20 pounds in the first 7 months of 2021 knowing that candy is a problem for you. Share this with your team. Let them see your struggles and achievements as you get feedback from them. As a leader, you can set a company-wide goal of losing a certain number of pounds and eating at least one healthy meal a day for each employee by the end of the year. You can create a strong, cohesive unit in the process when your team knows you care about their health and provide an income opportunity.
