Whichever method you choose to generate your income online, one thing is very important to understand. Money can be made and spent, saved and stolen, invested and wasted. No time. That is why time is far more valuable than money. You cannot recreate a time. Once it's spent, it's gone forever.
If you lack the luxury of time, making money online or offline can be impossible. How should you do that when you're working in a fun-loving nine-for-five job? While the stability of full-time employment allows most to get a good night's sleep, your creative juices cannot seek out new income-generating strategies.
Regardless of which method you end up making an income on the internet, you need to adjust your mindset to empower you, not to discourage you. The truth is that making money online can be fraught with avoidable pitfalls. Break up the noise by following some basic guiding principles.
If you are serious about generating a full-time income and potentially more from your online activities, your focus is on passive income, not active income. Sure, active income will help you survive. This is the scarcity mentality in the game. But it is the passive income ideas that will help you be successful.

With time limited, passive income should be a large part of your work. If you are serious about generating a semblance of income online, passive income should be one of your only goals and ambitions. Why? Wouldn't you prefer to do the job once and get paid repeatedly rather than relying on your time to generate that income? Invest the time in the front end so you can take advantage of the back end. This means getting a little sweat into equity and not getting paid today. Rather, you get paid somewhere on the street. And you will continue to get paid, whether you continue to build that passive income stream or stop.
Anyone looking to make money online should aim for passive income while working on active income. There are countless ways to passively generate income on the Internet. Many of these start with starting a blog, generating significant traffic, and building an audience and list. It's not easy, but it's worth it.
That doesn't mean you have to start a blog today to make money online. You could go down a route that doesn't start with blogging. However, if you are looking for longevity in your income generating skills online, a blog should be your primary goal.
1. Take advantage of the app economy
If you want to address immediate financial needs, the app economy is probably for you.
Uber or Lyft: If you find yourself in a locale where you can find Uber or Lyft, or one of the many competitors around the world like China's Didi, the hours of work are flexible and you can do whatever you want to make it perfect. Even if you currently have a full-time job but want to earn some money on the side.
Postmates: In some places, you don't even need a car to make money with this app. In some large metropolitan areas like Manhattan, a bike would be enough.
iBotta: Earn cashback rewards by buying selected products from major retailers. All you have to do is add discounts, go shopping, and then snap a picture of your receipt to start earning your cashback. Simple and effective.
Task Rabbit: Another simple and straightforward app that can help you get a little extra income is the Task Rabbit app. Tasks can range from simple repairs to more extensive tasks. The app carefully reviews each service provider to ensure the highest quality, and it's a great way to earn extra income on the side on your own terms.
Ebates: This app provides an easy way to make money online by buying everything you already buy and then receiving a cashback reward. With eBates there are no scan receipts. Just click a link in the app and buy it from the store. When you make a purchase, your cash rewards will be automatically credited to you and you will receive an email confirmation.
Swagbucks: There are a number of ways to make money with Swagbucks. You can shop online, watch videos, answer surveys and surf the web. The app offers you both cashback and gift cards as rewards for your efforts.
Inbox Dollars: Another app that lets you make money online is Inbox Dollars, which you can use to pay for TV, surveys, and shopping. There are bar offers here, and it's relatively similar to some of the other apps in this arena.

2. Use existing websites
You can also use existing websites to make money. This includes both active and passive income methods. For example, you can sell some used items or invest in creating digital designs that can then be sold on goods. Again, spend a considerable amount of your time on passive income so that you can slowly generate income that comes to the autopilot with no extra effort.
Of course, a large part of these websites have their own apps. But these are certainly less involved in the gig economy than in the longer-term projects that exist in the fields of photography, online marketing, graphic design and web development, for example.
Craigslist: This site has been the go-to place for people looking to make a little extra money online for over a decade. You can easily sell your used things, rent a guest room in your house or apartment, and offer your services to the world.
Upwork: This website has a great marketplace for selling almost any professional service. You don't need a dealer account, your own website or anything else. All you have to do is be able to offer quality service at a reasonable price. But be informed, you have to compete with many others who are constantly bidding for vacancies.
Cafe Press: This website allows you to create digital designs which can then be sold on the platform. You earn a commission on everything that is sold and never have to deal with logistics like printing, storage, and customer service. If you have some graphic design skills, this is a great potential source of your web-based income.
Fiverr: Israel-based Fivver was founded in 2010 by Shal Wininger and Micha Kaufam. They can offer gigs from $ 5, but they also get paid a lot more for upgrades and add-ons.
Mechanical Turk: Amazon's Mechanical Turk is a resource for human intelligence tasks or, as generally mentioned on the website, for HITs. You get a very small fee for a given HIT and it takes a lot of volume to make a significant amount of money. But it is a resource that you can use in your spare time to make a small income online.
Flippa: If you have a penchant for buying and selling, you can use Flippa and its superior counterpart, Deal Flow Brokerage, to buy and sell websites for a profit. You need to know what you are doing here, but you could easily make significant income turning the pages of income generating websites with a profit.
Etsy: While Etsy's popularity has been declining lately, it's still a great resource for selling handmade items online. No need for complex ecommerce websites or merchant accounts or any kind of automation. The company takes a commission on every sale and charges a small listing fee per item. But many still use Etsy as their primary source of income. The best part is that you can also sell digital products like poster designs.
Shutterstock and iStockPhoto: Do you have a keen eye for photography? Why don't you sell photos on some of the leading photo sites? You need some design software knowledge to participate. However, if you have some knowledge in this area, it is an excellent potential source of passive income.
Threadless: Similar to CafePress, Threadless in Chicago also lets you sell digital designs in the form of t-shirts and other merchandise like phone cases, mugs, beach towels, and more.
Zazzle: Another great resource for selling online is using Robert Beavers' Zazzle. The site is somewhat similar to Etsy and virtually anyone can make money online by selling a variety of items here. From art to handmade items to customizable products, you can sell pretty much anything here.

3. Sell your own stuff
When you're ready to step into the ecommerce battle, it's time to sell your own stuff. Selling your own products on your own website naturally comes with a whole range of responsibilities, technical configurations, and requirements. To get started, you will need a website and a hosting account. You also need a merchant account such as that offered by Stripe or PayPal. Then you need to design that website, create a sales funnel, create a guiding magnet, and do email marketing.
You will also need ecommerce software, fulfillment software, warehousing, customer service, and refunds. But that's not all. You also need traffic. Think of search engine optimization, Facebook ads, and other social media campaigns. It's hard work, especially alone. You can go for the Amazon platform which may be simpler. But ultimately, this is serious business that could bring significant profits. So you're either all-in or you're not.
Shopify: Do you want to create your own storefront? You can create a Shopify store. You can also install WooCommerce as a plugin and run your ecommerce store from your blog. You need an SSL certificate and some way to process payments. However, it may be easier to do so to get up and running quickly and start selling right away.
Fulfilled-by-Amazon (FBA): You could start selling in the world's largest online store and not take the time to build your own infrastructure or worry about the traffic. You have to pay a commission, but most of the other processes will be automated for you.
Drop Shipping: Amazon offers some form of drop shipping, but there are also other resources for drop shipping products that you never need to see or manipulate yourself. All you have to do is complete the sale. Vendors like SaleHoo, Worldwide Brands, and many others offer you a resource for dropping your products on.
High-ticket advice or coaching: You can sell your own high-ticket advice or coaching products from your website. You will still need a website, merchant account, sales funnel, lead magnet, and many other items. However, you can easily make a significant amount of money with every single customer, making the tedious setup worthwhile.

In addition, many of the larger companies also have their own affiliate programs. Do your due diligence and find the right company with a relevant product or service for your audience to sell as an affiliate.

If you are serious about making money online, start a blog. Blogging is one of the easiest and most sustainable sources of income. As long as the blog is set up properly, in the right niche, with the right content for the right audience, and the offering compliments the content, you can generate a tremendous amount of passive income from a blog.
While some think starting a blog is a chore, it gets a lot easier when you understand the exact steps you need to take. It all starts with the decision to pick a profitable niche and pick the right domain name. From there, you'll need to create your quotes. 6. Email Marketing
If you're interested in online marketing, set up email software and create a lead magnet to use in your sales funnel. Then make this list. It is often said that you can make around $ 1 per subscriber per month. If you have a list of 10,000 subscribers, you can make around $ 10,000 a month. You need to provide value and not include it in every email, but it is a very achievable goal in a short amount of time.
There are many ways to get people on your list. Lead magnets are one such resource. For example, you can create e-books, checklists, and cheat sheets. However, you can also perform content updates, such as: B. PDF versions of an article with additional resources, four-part video training series, and more. Think about your audience and what you can offer them to better serve them. Then treat it with some respect and you will eventually reap the rewards.

7. Webinar training
Webinars are probably one of the most effective ways to make an exorbitant amount of money online. You need an audience to train with and you need to know what you are talking about. Of course, this usually requires a website and the appearance of an online presence. Without all of that, however, attendees can still host webinars. For example, you could have a significant amount of social media and you train them every week on something social media related. However, you need a product that you can embed and sell at some point. Don't worry in the beginning. In my experience, GoToWebinar is the best webinar platform.
Whichever method you choose to make money online, you should be aware that you can potentially make money quickly. However, for the sizeable returns you will need significant equity. However, in a year, you'll be glad you started today. Remember, time is far more valuable than money. Focus on creating passive streams of income that will free up your time so you can finish the rat race and focus on the things that matter.
